WHO WE ARE
We are a global community of changemakers creating a better world through education.
We want every child in school and learning well.
We believe in providing access to education and vocational training to promote:
-Literacy and gender equality
-Peace-building and Advocacy
-Capacity building in rural villages(to protect indigenous people)
-Community development
Our goal is to provide pre-school education in ruler areas and refugee camps to help improve reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills of children between six and fourteen years old because kids should have the opportunity to learn at least the alphabet, and the proportion of children should be able to read simple sentences to help increase literacy rates.
Through our Peace-Building and Advocacy program, we are reaching children and training teachers so that S4E can measure child enrollment and progress throughout the countries we serve; combat child trafficking and aid vulnerable children; teach English as well as vocational and technological skills; and promote literacy for mothers.
On 1 January 2016, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development — adopted by world leaders in September 2015 at an historic UN Summit — officially came into force. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), otherwise known as the Global Goals, are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
We fulfill three of the Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations in 2015:
Universal Education
Gender Equality
Ending Poverty and Hunger
““From my experience, I believe every child should have access to quality education. I want S4E to create schools, programs and global communities around the common goal of education for all. We cannot end poverty without feeding the mind. Education is key in ending poverty.” Mari Malek ”
